Damp Detection & Mould Surveys
We help you take care of your property with expert damp and mould surveys, ventilation tests, and insulation improvements.
We take a building pathology approach to your whole property to identify the real causes of damp and mould. For hidden mould this can include air sampling and swab testing.
We also inspect sub floors, lofts and voids if required to ensure they are ventilated correctly and there are no unwanted moisture build ups or pathways.
Mould Removal & Damp Proofing
We aim to find the actual source of your damp. Rising damp is actually very rare and is usually misdiagnosed as the correct pathological approach has not been taken in a survey. Penetrating damp, bridging damp, wicking, condensation and humidity are often the issue.
We can offer numerous solutions to your damp and advise the pros / cons to each approach. All mould is physically removed as per IICRC standards and guidelines. No harmful chemicals are used directly on mould and advice is given as to how to prevent it returning.

At Swift Maintenance Solutions, we are working together with landlords, councils, businesses, and homeowners to eradicate damp and mould.
Our initial survey can be as detailed as you require and can include thermal imaging, air and surface sampling for hidden moulds and air quality, and drone surveys for your roof and gutters.
Our surveys are very extensive and include inspecting the buildings exterior, interior, void spaces, windows, pipework and anything else that may be allowing moisture to enter your property or that is preventing moisture from leaving your property.
Finding and rectifying all forms of penetrating damp, bridging damp, poor ventilation and inadequate insulation is a priority.
